Al Wa’ab City is one of the largest privately owned real estate projects currently being developed in the State of Qatar. Al Waab City Development in Doha, State of Qatar covers an area of 1.25 million square metres. The city will include mixed-use residential and apartment units housing around 8,000 people, anchor, and low-rise office space. The heart of city is Barahat Al Waab a 44,000 square metres yard which will become a central urban gathering space for tourists, guests and residents of the city. Barahat Al Waab will be anchored by a 200-room 5-star hotel.

Al Wa’ab City is a mixed-use development composed of approximately 2,000 residential units, over 100,000 sqm and 200,000 sqm of retail and commercial space respectively, and a 200-room 5-star luxury hotel & a Piazza, all fully cared for under a world-class facilities. The contract covers construction of a central plaza, an 11-storey hotel, 639 villas, 7-storey apartment buildings, 88,000 square metres of retail space and 291,000 square metres of parking. Contract value is around US$1.4 billion. Al Waab city is expected to be completed in 2010. In October 2008.
